The "yeah I have my ticket" thread
Well that seemed pretty painless for the most part. I got my ticket straight away with no hassle.
But my friend who was doing deposit bookings (I did a full price to get the campervan ticket) had the site crash at the transaction page like lots of people. But when I tried we had deposits paid against them so we got all 6 tickets.
Got my confirmation email through as well - took about an hour.
So all in all not too bad booking it all things considered.
I'm now like a kiddie at xmas as this is only my second Glasto!!
Hope everyone gets tickets

Received email confirmation a few minutes ago. Two easy years in a row, it can't last, I'll probably have to pay for it next year though.
Good luck to everyone still trying.

Got mine but I'm a bit concerned. Apparently we've got an overdraft allowance of £2700 and we're at £2200 right now, so it should be okay? It won't get rejected will it?

You should be ok with a £500 margin unless your bank does something silly.

Yay I got mine within 20 minutes of the tickets going onsale.
I'm amazed it took that short an amount of time, I'm actually a bit giddy at the thought of my third Glasto!

The website crashed as I was making the transaction (it didn't take me through to the Verified By Visa page) but on re-entering my registration details into seetickets, it suggests that ticket purchase was successful & I just need to wait for the confirmation email. Has anyone else had this happen?

Bought mine at about 9, it also crashed towards the end, but was advised on Twitter that it probably had gone through - after a very tense hour and a half got the email at 10:38!

That happens quite often each year. If it says that your registration number has already been used then you were successful.
The official Glasto Twitter account has also confirmed this.

See, I have a slight problem with this and it's an odd one
I think that the booking process missed a step in the fact that it has confirmed bookings without the verification due to the site crashing.
Will they then be calling people to re confirm bookings or just take it without the verification (and hence making themselves more susceptible to fraud)?

still waiting for email confirmation
I think I managed to get my ticket at about 10am but am still awaiting an email confirmation - always makes me nervous waiting for this bit.
Slightly odd, my friend trying to order 4 tickets in one go, had to make a few attempts at entering reg codes and payment details, after checking the 3rd time, 2 reg codes were saying had already been used, but not the other two.
Making me sweat abit thinking something is amiss with the reservations
