whats the stupidest thing you've done at Glasto?
*one* of the stupidest things i done at Glasto was last year when watching Toots and the Maytals i decided to get a drink at the bar although i was already 2 sheets to the wind, i waited 30 mins at the bar til i finally got served and asked for a beer, the bar woman just looked at me stupid and said "this is the Brothers bar, we only serve cider" i was so embarrassed and could feel my face burning as everybody looked at me but worst of all i missed "Monkey Man"!!!! ....

Turning up in 97 with my Doc Martins already split at the heels and trying to keep my feet dry by wearing plastic bags inside my boots.....

WhatMe tried to rescue responsible adult from a porta loo when responsible adult wasn't even stuck, WhatMe managed to rip the whole door off to reveal responsible adult with his kecks round his ankles to the whole queue of people waiting.
I have made responsible adult a badge so if you see him ask him if he got over it! He doesn't do forums even though he is a glasto vet!

Ditto in 98... And that's after taking them in 97! What was I thinking?
I'm still using the army boots I bought that year though, waterproof as all hell and so comfortable

Not eating for too long when you have hypoglycaemia is a Bad Idea. Cue me sat in the Croissant Neuf welfare tent, sobbing my eyes out while trying to prevent myself from falling into a coma by forcing toast down my neck. Those folks are awesome

Trying to stck to a timetable/clashfinder last year as a novice. Got to Saturday and we just mooched about and had a much better time and saw/discovered all sorts of things that were not on the poxy "schedule" and then grasped what it was all about

Yep, you've got it!
We're currently studying the lists, updating our clashfinder and Orange app, frantically Myspaceing acts and generally get super-organised. We'll get there and it'll all be forgotten in a haze of "Ooh, what's going on in there?"
Planning is so much fun. Being there and ignoring your plans is so much more fun!

In 1990, wanting to see two bands at the same time - one was Sinead O'Connor I think, I forget who the other was - and being so traumatised by my inability to make a decision that I never left my tent and missed both

Two things last year come to mind:
1. Getting caught short and peeing in a cup - that had a hole in the bottom. That was a low point...
2. Getting grit/dust in my eye and rubbing it frantically. Cue a trip to the on-site hospital with a torn cornea.

Not putting bloody sun cream on last year and getting blisters on the Wednesday for my stupidness!
Getting all the way up to Shangri La on the saturday last year, seeing the line of people and walking away! Should have gone in damn it...
