What time do the gates REALLY open?

Once all parked up how long do the queues at the pedestrian gates get and how early do people start queueing?
Do the gates actually open at 8 or will they open earlier if the queue is getting huge?

Hi. Gates open 8am Weds. We queued from 5am last year and considering how massive the queue was by 8 we were quite near the front. And it did open at 8, no sooner.

Stewarding Gate C on the Wednesday morning in 2008, there was some kind of glitch and we didn't open on time - don't know if it was just Gate C or all of them, though.

It'd be only fair that if there's a delay at one gate to hold back the others....

is there toilets nr the ques to get in-as i have children with me.

couple of years ago they didnt open gate until 9am
Cant see them ever opening early?
there are toilets in the carpark, but once your in the que your kids will have to hold it unless you have another adult that can wait in que for ya, you will have all your gear with you so you dont wanna be runnin back and forth to the toilet, as the que can move fast 1 person moving a whole lot of gear can be hard, ppl will over take you and before you know it you wont recognise anybody around you.
