So I missed out on the resale and its suddenly beginning to sink in that I wont be joining the party. Feel a bit numb! And there isnt one next year so will have to wait until 2013. So the question is what can I do whilst Glasto is on, has any one got any suggestions?

Its all down to luck I'm afraid. So sorry u missed out. Glasto week - have a party and invite friends round and watch all the coverage from the comfort of home.
And pick another festival to go to - there's loads to choose from.
yeah! there are still places available for certain bars and charities and stuff! but if you definitely can't go really sorry to hear that feeling must be bitter. pick another top festival like bestival, exit or benecassim if you're looking abroad, and just look forward to 2013. feel for you
First off don't give up yet there is possible another resale coming.
But if all else fails there are some very good smaller festivals about Bestival has already been mentioned, Latitude and Beautiful Days are also very good,
