Default Wellies!
Ok, so I know I wasn't the only welly-clad fiend last year, so who rocks the wellies?
I went all out and painted mine last year and they came out quite nicely and went the distance!
Anybody else a regular boot-painter?

Shoddy pic, I know, but it's the only one we got.
They're (obviously) blue with black and white stripes at the bottom, with a big white '10' on the inside leg and a small Italian flag on the outside.

I've never worn wellies, I always take my trusty boots.
They're completely waterproof, even in deep water if the laces are done up tight enough.

They're probably better for your feet than wellies with all the walking you have to do at Glasto, though the one disadvantage is that you have to dig through a couple of inches of mud to find the laces if it's a muddy year.

I opted for walking boots this year after discovering the way that mud tends to keep hold of your wellies and you end up attempting to extract your boots from quickmud while your foot keeps coming out and you have to put it down in the mud to keep your balance, making your socks and feet wet and muddy. In the end I figured that walking boots would at least stay attached to my feet, and they're a lot more comfy when you have large calves like I have, no welly rub for me any more!

Even though this weekend is set to be the hottest weekend of the year - look out for me I will be the chick with a huge afro, maxi dress and wellies - I HEART welly boots!
