When I looked at the glastowatch weather forecast all this week, including this morning, there were sun symbols for the whole period. As at 2:45 this afternoon, there is mainly thick cloud and rain. What's happening?

The only symbol they have not used in the last 24 hours is plague of locusts.

Since my rant a couple of hours ago, someone has been on the site and changed all the rain symbols to suns. I take it that the forecast is not coming from a weather site and and that someone is sitting there with buttons with sun and rain on them and hits them randomly every few hours.
I do not believe that any 7 day forecast can get revised three times in one day.

In case you were wondering.
http://uk.weather.com/weather/10day-Shepton-Mallet-BA4

The image grabs the latest weather data every 30 mins.

Most, if not all online weather forecasts update several times a day. The data is in a constant state of flux, so it's only right that their weather forecasts reflect the latest data they have.

Two or three days in advance is about the best they can do with any reliability though.

You have spoiled the magic for me. I was certain that the druids on Glastonbury Torr sacrificed goats and sheep and inspected their entrails to divine the will of the gods.
Having a link to the interweb thingy is just not the same.

Doesn't this forecast come from an American site? I'm rather suspicious.
