The Twitterbury list is now open for 2010.

Where: Jazz World/West Holts @ Glasto
When: From 2pm Thursday June 24th 2010

If you would like to be added to this year's list, either post your Twitter ID below or reply to @GlastoWatch on Twitter with the hashtag #twitterbury.

Everyone is welcome to attend whether you're on Twitter or not, the list is purely there to enable those who are going, to be able to follow each other so they can get to know the people they'll be meeting.

Be warned: If you do put your name on the list, you will get a LOT of new followers

This year we had 527 names on the list (no idea how many actually turned up), can we beat this next year?

If you're wondering what we'll be doing there, we'll be drinking lots of pear cider and talking bollox.

We had a flag this year, no doubt we'll have the same flag or a suitable replacement for next year.

For those who haven't spotted it yet, there's a field in your user profile where you can enter your Twitter ID and whether your attending #twisto, it will then be displayed on the top RHS of your posts, like mine.

Hashtags don't do anything, they're simply a way to tag a post as being about a certain subject if the word isn't included in the post e.g. "I'm looking forward to chillin at the Stone Circle in June #glasto" This shows people who have no idea what the stone Circle is that you're talking about Glasto and allows people to find your post if they're searching for Glasto posts.
You can put them anywhere in a post and make up your own ones on the fly.

Set off across last year but I was a Glasto virgin and sort of got lost and then distracted buy shiny things, herbal tea and homemade carrot cake (I kid you not!).

Will be there this time and hopefully meet a few I've spoken to on twitter

Hiya, I am @fabulous_girl on twitter! I managed to get a ticket in October but none of my friends did, they were going to try on Sunday but due to skintness/memory lapses weren't able to! Luckily I know some people who are going so I will probably camp with them, but I don't know them that well and don't want to impose too much, so will definitely try and come to the meet!
I have posted on the thread about carshares anyway but in case anyone sees this and not that, anyone who wants to fill their car from Sheffield- call on me! I will taking the bus or train otherwise which is not a welcome prospect!
