Too many top bands want to play 2010, lots of secret gigs planned says Emily Eavis!
I've just heard that Emily Eavis was talking to someone from NME earlier this evening. Apparently lots of top bands want to play 2010 due to it being the 40th anniversary, but there aren't enough top slots to accommodate them all.
So what they're planning to do is arrange a lot of secret gigs to fit in as many as possible.
I've also been told that GFL have no plans to release the names of any of the acts any time soon as they have no need to try to sell the festival.
I heard about secret shows last year all after they had happened. Is it really just luck and being in the right place at the right time ? Or is there some sort of clue etc in the Q papers or elswhere on the site.
Being new last year and so much to take in we probably missed the obvious!

The official Glasto Twitter account doesn't do hints @glastofest.
The only other source of official Glasto info on Twitter is @emilyeavis and she doesn't give much away either.
The Michael Eavis account is fake. He has a reputation for being a bit of a Luddite, so it's unlikely you'll ever see him on there.
Well I had my iPhone and twitter running and didn't get any hints at all that I spotted. I'd heard that things got mentioned in the Q paper but didn't see anything in that... Maybe I'm just not good at spotting these things :0
