Got tickets today! is it me or does it seem much earlier this year?

See stupidly started printing them before the deadline for refunds which has caused a bit of a headache for those requesting refunds close to the deadline!
Was told mine was printed on 3rd May, and just arrived in See office today, so they could dig it out and refund me, though would probably had to wait until Monday if I hadn't been kicking up a stink!

Worth checking the ticket tracker thingy people - anyone post a link to it?

Much more sensible to start sending them out now. It avoids all that panic 2 weeks before the festival and plenty of time to get in touch with seetickets if yours doesn't arrive.

Mine says prepared for despatch on 10th May to leave office next day!!

I reckon so

They're delivered by courier, so I assume they're faster than the normal Royal Mail postal service lol.

I've come to expect mine on Friday as they were prepared for dispatch today. Fingers crossed, eh?

I was just coming on to post the exact same thing!!!!!! So so excited. Have the tickets arrived day after this change? I need to sort out my sick excuse for the morning!

Apparantly DX send you an email to tell you what day they will attempt delivery. http://www.thedx.co.uk/glastonbury I'm off till Tuesday so hopefully will be before then for me.

Seetickets are posting them out earlier this year due to the amount of complaints last year that a large amount of tickets were not sent out in time. They said to me they are aiming to get all the tickets delivered before the 1st of June this for UK and overseas tickets.

Edit : Although DX are saying 17th of June

I had an email from DX (the courier company) today saying -

"Your Glastonbury Festival ticket(s) are on the way. Delivery will be attempted on 13 May 2011.

Ticket(s) will be delivered by a DX courier between 8am and 8pm and will require a signature.

If there is no one in at your address we will leave a calling card or contact you by email to advise you of the options available to you.

For further information please visit www.thedx.co.uk/glastonbury"

So that's TOMORROW! WOOoooo

They certainly do, and ours just hit Lou's inbox! Looks like I'll be sleeping on the sofa tonight... I don't get home from work til 5am and I'm dead to the world when posties are out and about - the sofa is my one chance of hearing the front door!

I don't know actually... I've not been checking the ticket tracker.

But I got the email yesterday afternoon which I posted a bit of up there somewhere ^^

In my HAND!

After a very uncomfortable night on the sofa where I dreamed exclusively about doing my job at Glastonbury (very surreal), Mr Delivery Man arrived at exactly the same time as my alarm went off

I ache all over, I'm knackered, and I still have to go to work tonight but... who gives a flying fajitas?? We're going to Glastonbury!!!

Hope everyone's tickets arrive soon!

The countdown officially starts... now! 39 days people, 39 days!

Oh, and some details... Lou got the email yesterday to say it would arrive today. The tracker had caused us some panic... I checked the receipt number against my address and "We have no record..."

Checked against Lou's address... the same. I forgot that it was our friend Jack who got through to See and paid the deposits. Finally checked her address and there they were! Then the email said "If the ticket was paid for by someone other than the addressee, photo ID is required" New panic. Jack paid, the tickets were addressed to Lou, at my address" Having stayed at mine all week, Lou had to go home yesterday and anyway she had no photo ID to leave for me... What if they asked for ID? She left me her credit card in case (thanks hon, came in handy

)

The outcome: Knock knock... "Here you go mate, sign here"

Not at all convinced that See are the people for the job, but I like them a little more today!

aw no thats rubbish! well they didnt come yesterday, im guessing maybe tomorrow, as i still havent even had the email yet....

arghh i just dont want to be staying in the house all day for the next few days!
