Tickets on sale on Sunday at 9am

[Glastonbury Festivals]

Tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2011 go on sale at 9am on Sunday, October 3rd, costing £195 (+ P&P and £5 booking fee).

You will be able to book up to 8 tickets per transaction by paying a £50 deposit per person, either online at www.seetickets.com/g2011 or on the booking line: 0844 412 4635.

There will then be no further payments taken until the booking site re-opens in spring 2011, when you will have a week to pay your balance of £145 per ticket, and to book everything else you might need (tipis, campervan tickets, parking, insurance).

To book tickets, you will need the registration number and postcode for each person for whom you are booking a ticket. New registrations and registration look-up are suspended until Monday.

It is very unlikely that there will be enough left or returned by May 8th to warrant a public resale for what may only be a couple of hundred tickets. What would happen to these? Well, I'd guess they'd become available first to friends & family of office/festival staff who had missed out so far.

Yup, most recent announcement from the fest about this Friday being last day for refunds did hint there could be a possible resale, but not likely to be more than 24hours notice of this. Also, this friday is when registration closes so if not registered and you want a chance in a possible resale, get registered!!
