Default Ticket Resale Consortium
Are there any groups of people here where we can help each other out in getting tickets in the resale?

I was not fortunate enough back in October to get tickets and like lots of others am a bit gutted.

I know that means a hell of a lot of trust as you would have to purchase tickets for somebody you didn't know and then hope they came across with the money .. But to be fair, generally I think that everyone on here is honest and is desperate to get a resale ticket.

I am certainly willing to get somebody elses tickets if I am lucky enough to get through.

Good luck everybody

I got tickets but am helping my mate get his so if i get thru more than once i'll be well up for getting someone but with no money in the bank it would involve a phone call so i can use your card details just to get your tickets. i know its alot to trust someone over the phone you don't know but if anyone wants any help give me a shout!

Thanks Whatme,

I'm happy to do that too .. Firstly - I'm gonna try for two tickets (myself & wife) which leaves another two available.

Then if I manage to get through again - Another four (for a group of friends who only want to go together).

Basically, if I'm lucky enough to get through in the first case - I have two additional tickets that I could get for someone.

for the original sale i bought my tickets from work in Saudi Arabia, it was amazingly easy to get through so i dont know if they have some sort of filter for foreign buyers? My UK friends didnt get through once but i could get back in whenever i tried. Anyway, unfortunately on Sunday i will be in Abu Dhabi so i dont know if things will be the same but i am more than happy to try and help anyone out, just send me the details and i will try. Good luck to everyone trying, it is the best feeling ever to see that green see tickets web page when you get through

Hi Mark,

My friend and I missed the original sale this year and I'd love it if you can help us out as well. I'm not really sure how the whole system works since I've never queued with Seetickets(I'm from Canada and my friend is an aussie) before, so any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Kitty

Hi Kitty, i tend to do things the same was as Mart44 does, i dont wait for the auto attempt that the see tickets system does every 20 seconds and i too have never got through on the phone, i think thats almost impossible! i have never managed to get through before 9 but i've seen lots of comments from people who have so definatley worth starting form 0845ish (along with everyone else of course). if you want me to try for you from over here send me a personal message and we can exchange contact details, as i said earlier i will be in Abu Dhabi on Sunday and it will be lunch time for me when the sale starts so i will be able to try from there and i'm sure the internet will be better there than our connection at work in Saudi. Good luck for Sunday as its always good to have more good folks from our colonies with us in June

He said that before the ticket balance payment window closed, and as with a lot of things ME says, it should be taken with a large pinch of salt.

Without knowing how many people are chasing tickets, knowing the number available is irreverent.

Whatme and myself will try to help out as many people as possible, all our friends managed to get theirs in october, so if anyone wants to inbox me their phone numbers I will work down a list of 1st come 1st rung if we do get through. Sorry but we are unable to pay so you would have to be prepared to let me know your details. Up to you but I am very happy to help and if I did run of with your details you know exactly where I will be at the end of June lol.

I would love to give a hand, but unfortunately I start work at 12:30pm.

In October, I was getting dressed at the computer chair, doing my makeup one handed while refreshing, and scoffing food all in one go. I didn't move from that chair!

I HAVE to leave for work at 12:10 at the latest.

At 12:05 I got through.

I've never been so relieved in my life.

Good luck to everyone trying for tickets, I hope you all get them!

Gutted ... Got through to booking page ... started filling in form .. then it went back to holding page.

Thanks to the people who took my number and messaged me.

I had a list of eight other peoples numbers .. who I assume wrote mine down too.

Still finding it unbelievable that I had eight peoples numbers, who also had mine .. And nobody seems to have got through ...

I even had the booking page up, filled in all the details including debit card, picked the campervan ticket, ticked the agree to terms box, clicked purchase tickets ... and it went back to holding page ... Aaaaaargh !! .. Seetickets really does suck

Think I might have a week abroad at the end of June ...

Same happened to me but I got a message saying "one or more of the tickets you requested is not available". I'm thinking the campervan tickets had run out otherwise why would it let you go through that far with the request for your 2 (in my case) tickets. Would think the system at least would stop you the heartache of inputting all the details and then saying sold out. Most people whose orders crashed out after payment DID have their tickets. I had a screen that said "you have not been charged for this" (wish I had been by mistake!) and no option to go back to try and take off the campervan ticket which I thought might be the problem.

I believe there was a huge error on the coach ticket pages, a very poorly set up system it seems so that people could only do it one at a time and no system for child seats at all! So much for green travel, I'm gathering people are now driving about all over the country to get on coaches they didn't really want to go on, miles away from where they live!!!

Anyway, enough grumbling, lol! I'm keeping a close eye out for changes to the Seetickets page, if you want to PM me your phone number I'm happy to let you know if anything happens on there. (Not sure what I'm going to do about campervan pass tho but will cross that bridge IF I can get anywhere with a ticket)

Bev

It might be worth a try after 6th May when the actual cut off for total refunds is.
