Default Ticket re-sale date confirmed

We're pleased to announce that the re-sale of cancelled tickets for this year's Festival will take place at 9am on Sunday, 11th April 2010.

Tickets will be sold online at www.seetickets.com/g2010 and via the Seetickets booking line 0844 412 4635. The numbers are limited and we expect them to sell out quite quickly.

In order to purchase tickets in the re-sale, you must be successfully registered by Wednesday, March 31st i. Register online at www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk. For more information about ticket sales and registration, please visit our ticket information page.

As well as standard Festival tickets (costing £185), there will be a limited number of Combined Coach and Festival Tickets on sale. These tickets include either single or return coach tickets from a range of locations around the UK.

For Glastonbury 2010 we really want to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions that we produce. One of the biggest contributions comes from how ticket holders travel to the Festival - in fact, audience transport contributes to two thirds of the Festival's total emissions.

A coach travelling to the Festival at full capacity is the most carbon efficient way to arrive. Travelling by coach produces 6.02kg of co2 per person. By comparison, trains produce 28.40kg/person and car/campervan 37.77kg/per person. Choosing to come by coach really is the greenest way to travel to Glastonbury. (If you do come by car, please try to make sure it is full of passengers to help reduce cars on the road and emissions.)

Combined Coach and Festival Ticket prices are listed below:

BRISTOL: Single (£207.50), Return (£221.50)

LONDON: Single (£216.50), Return (£239.00)

MANCHESTER: Single (£221.50), Return (£248.50)

LEEDS: Single (£223.50), Return (£253.00)

NOTTINGHAM: Single (£219.50), Return (£245.00)

TAUNTON: Single (£206.5), Return (£218.50)

WINCHESTER: Single (£215.50), Return (£236.50)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please note:

· For all Combined Coach and Festival Tickets, it is mandatory that you travel on the coach.

· Only the Coach travel portion of combined tickets will be sent out in advance.

· Your Festival tickets will be handed out to the lead booker only by the coach driver at a point during the journey.

· All coaches are for travel to the Festival site on WEDNESDAY 23RD JUNE with returns on Monday 28th June.

hi there!
i was wondering if someone could give me some advice on ticket purchasing. i´m from slovakia (international) and would like to buy the ticket via phone most probably... but i am really worried about the queues for callers... do you have any experience with this? like are my chances of getting the ticket lower compared to my chances of getting it via internet?
and does anybody know if i need to have 185 pounds (or like 220 euros) on my account at the time of purchasing the ticket or is there some time (if so, how long is the time?) to pay for the ticket afterwards?
one more question and i´m finshed
what information am i going to need to provide to succesfully purchase the ticket? i may need to take all those "papers" with me because on 11th of april, I´ll be on a road travelling.
thanks a lot )

I have never managed to get through on the phone despite trying every year. The website is by far the best option in my experience, though I've only ever used the domestic phone number, the international one may be easier to get through on.

They won't be taking deposits this time, so the full amount needs to be paid, though in practice it often takes them a few days to withdraw the payment from your account.

The only information you will need is your registration number, credit card details (international use credit card, domestic use debit card) and a delivery address (unless you're planning to collect the ticket in the UK).

Usually the only sign that tickets are back on sale is when the ticket status changes on the SeeTickets Glastonbury page. When this happens, it'll be reported on his forum and other mediums such as Twitter.

The page you need to keep an eye on is http://www.seetickets.com/g2010/

The best bet is to sign up with one of the groups who'll give you a ticket in exchange for some work - standard rate seems to be 24 hours work scattered through the time between the Wednesday morning and the end of Sunday, but you can spend the rest of your time in the festival (and the stewarding company I was with a couple of years ago pays cash money as well)....
