Thought I'd Say Hello :)

As the title suggest, im a newbie to the site, so I thought I would say hello to everyone - HELLO!

2011 will be my 3rd year in a row at Glastonbury, absolutely can't wait, only found out about Twitterbury after the festival this year, but I certainly hope to attend in 2011, if you want to follow me on twitter then feel free @RickySSmith

Hello and a big welcome to te forum. We are a nice bunch and look forward to getting to know new people. As I tell my 11 yr old when she tells me to stop talking to strangers (usually around the brothers bar!) They're not strangers just friends we havn't met yet!

And yeah I tried explaining that to some friends I took with me last year, they completely didn't "get" the whole festival atmosphere - I was there chatting and dancing away with people as if they were my best mates, whereas my friends just looked constantly lost.

Suffice to say they won't be going again next year...

haha. nice one ricky. sound. i missed last years meetup cos i was too wallopped to be arsed. i regretted it when i awoke the next morn. but i will defo do it. This will be my TENTH glastonbury and very proud to be sharing it with you all.

And hey David, yeah I realise the fact its my THIRD Glastonbury isn't really that impressive compared to some of you guys on here, but I'm totally hooked...I'll still be going when I'm 80 I hope, as long as I can still stomach the delights they serve up at the Brother's Bar or Cider Bus!

Whatme and myself missed it by about 5 foot lol. We had been waiting on the other side of the path. So gutted we didn't make it into the picture

Sounds like you all have the Glasto spirit! I was giving random people pints of cider and bring them into our group this year on the Friday while watching Gorillaz we ended up with about 20 people! it was great I hope I manage to bag a ticket for next year.
