Hi, I'm in need of a festival tent for 2 adults. ideally one that won't a)break the bank, b) fall over at the first puff of wind. Any suggestions? Also, will I be laughed at for bringing an airbed? (I can't sleep on one of those insignificant rollmats). Thanks in advance for your advice!
For two people you'll need a three person tent so you have enough room to store your gear. A porch is essential if it rains so you can leave your wet gear in it, as in a double skin and a high hydrostatic head figure.
Any brand name tent that meets the above requirements should do, you'll find plenty at Millets.
As a seasoned camper I have to say that not only are airbeds heavy and bulky to carry they aren't very comfortable. But I certainly wouldn't laugh at you for bringing one.
There is a thing called a thermarest which you'll find in most outdoor shops - they are portable, thermal, and comfortable. And what's more they virtually blow themselves up - you just have to top them up by blowing just before closing the valve.
Downside if you dont do much camping is you might think they are expensive despite the lifetime guarantee (I think), so you could always borrow one if you have friends who camp.
Agree with the above comment - a 2 man is just enough room for 2 to sleep !
Hope this helps :-)

Have bought the High Gear Atom 3 - seems to fit the bill. large enough for 2 adults, big porch for wet stuff, light and small. Fingers crossed it doesnt blow over or get waterlogged! http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/hi-gear-...h-tent-p108006
