As you posted on Glastowatch but don't mention Glastonbury in your message then I presume you have not been lucky in booking a ticket so if your looking something close to Glastonbury then you really need a time machine but there may be a solution.
Although I am sure some will disagree as I have been going to Glastonbury for the past Thirty Years if I could pick one current festival that comes close to what it was like thirty years ago then I would chose
Latitude 15th, 16th, 17th & 18th July 2010.

for ticket information.
I have worked there since it started in 2006 and its a far more relaxed festival compared to Reading { where I have worked for the past twenty years }
It also has a big advantage over Glastonbury if its bad weather - the ground at Glastonbury does have a tendency to turn to mud - check out the images starting at { click on image to move to next image }

which were taken after the end of the event { as it was far too muddy to risk taking them when there was people about }
While they have tried to improve the drainage at Glastonbury Latitude has natural drainage so the ground is less likely to get muddy.
Its true that your unlikely to see U2 at Latitude they have had in the past Patti Smith performing who is always worth watching.
Best of luck I am sure you will have a good time.
