Question special guests 2011
Has anybody got an info or whispers as to who the special guests are on the park stage this year?
AND who would you like to see there?

Normally pretty secret until the day. The whole thing of course started as a surprise but now everyone knows there might be something special going on.
Could it be Pulp ? Who knows

There was a rumour in the NOTW yesterday (so take that with a pinch of salt) that Prince might rock up.

He is playing the Hop Farm Festival the next weekend.

I'm just saying.

Add salt to taste.

If the Foos weren't in Finland on the Sunday night I would have put money on Mr Grohl turning up with the QOTSA.

They're playing Hyde Park on the 22nd + 23rd, then Edinburgh on 26th.... so Friday and Saturday are free!! Well a girl can dream! The whigs supported them- they were pretty damn good too!

Emily did say that Friday guests are "Headliner" level so KOL could be a good one if not a litle predictable. PErsonally REM would be good. TCV could still happen I think, and would love it if it did.

Jay-z and Kanye West have an album coming out together in July and rumour has it they could be making a surprise appearance on Beyonce's set. They potentially could be one of the special guests acts as they are big enough to be headliners, have an album to promote and Kanye's ego would need something more than playing a small part in Beyonce's set.

Good shout for the cure - they are playing isle of wight with crystal castles and crystal castles are playing glastonbury

It's got to be a band that are doing the festival circuit and emily eavis did say that the band she got to fill the saturday night slot could 'potentially' headline the festival (she also said she hadn't booked friday nights slot at that time so the band in question must be saturdays slot)

I would like to see primal scream slot in somewhere again over the weekend, putting them and u2 on at the same time is a bad clash

Friday at 8 and saturday 7.45

It's usually leaked onto twitter although you will only find out until around an hour or so before they come on - way i'm doing it is to get my girlfriend to look on twitter for me around 7ish on saturday and to ring me as soon as possible!

I should imagine worthy fm should be up to date with with any special guests though however you will need a radio with you!
