Default So close, I can taste it...
... literally!

Went to a local pub today (and, to be fair, yesterday too) where they were having a real ale and cider festival. Now, neither of us are ever going to be great cider drinkers, but could we ignore the "Barrows Hill Cider Bus" or the "Port Wine of Glastonbury"? Could we ****!

The Barrows Hill Cider Bus is exactly what its name suggests, the very cider sold at The Cider Bus, and it brought so many memories flooding back! The Pyramid and the Cider Bus are the only two things that were at Glasto 81 and will be at Glasto 11 (and, let's face it, it's a different Pyramid...). Ah, happy (fuzzy) memories

The Port Wine of Glastonbury is made from The Port Wine of Glastonbury apples that grow in the shade of Glastonbury Tor. Just a touch sweeter than I like, but the flavour...

So we raised a glass to all you good folk of GlastoWatch. And then, if memory serves, raised another!

Puts a whole new meaning to flat pack. Especialy after 24 tins. Also makes the istructions on the wardrobes easier to understand.

Buffystar hasn't had his yet either, so as hard as it is try not to worry. But I know that is so much easier to say than do, especially when almost everybody else has theirs.

Just seen the badges and she is doing good! Like Whatme, we're not much for drinking, but we shall raise a glass to Stinky tonight!

Was in Tescos last night and looking at the handy sized stella/fosters/carling etc packs 3 for 20 quid. Had to physically pull meself away from them as if I bought them now for glasto Id more than likely drink them before it with all this nice weather (well, apart from today up here)

Im thinking about getting some about 3 days before we leave, known my luck none of the supermarkets will have any deals on by then.

When do the rest of you stock up?

Oh dear. That's why we haven't bought ours yet - we'd get too excited and drink it all. We're going to collect our friends camping gear and booze at the weekend (they are getting the train from London to Hampshire where we live and then going with Mr Nelly in the car), we really MUST NOT drink their booze
