Default Rules etc for gas cookers. Help needed please.

nyone know the rules re: camping gaz stoves? I have a smally one , you know, the plastic case jobbies using a taymar gas can, but can I use a butane burner? Fixes directly to the gas bottle, 2 rings. Help, ideas?Much thanks.

Ooo I'm not sure about the gas bottles, we took a very small stove last year with a canister attached. Have you looked on the festival website?

Someone on here is sure to know though.

Am pretty sure there are no rules or regulations in what type of gas stove you take or use. I'd just add though that you are advised not to use them within tents or change/fit the gas bottles in tents.

Thanks. I saw all of those on the Fine Guide, but I was sure (I'm over 40, so memory is dodgy, you know?) that there may have been regs saying that camping gaz = OK, but anything larger was verboten. Saying that, with the piles of firewood everywhere, the potential for raging conflagration is boundless!

we have used a double burner stove connected to a gas bottle last few years, have just bought 2 single burners with gas canisters instead.
reasons being the bloody weight of the thing, and also we have heard people getting butane gas bottles taken off them, panicked every year hoping we can get in with it, so decided to ditch it this year, along with all the worry that comes with it haha
