Raising a glass to the Big Man
Lou and I will be going down to the Pyramid on Wednesday or Thursday to raise a glass to Clarence Clemons who died yesterday.
Saw Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band quite a few times, the last time being on the Pyramid two years ago. Been a fan since I was 14 and will miss the Big Man hugely.
"You want to be like him, but I'm sorry... you just can't be. Clarence, BIIIIIIGGGGG MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNN Clemons!"

I saw them in 2009 on the Pyramid - it was my favourite performance of my 3 Glasto's to date!

Done. Under clear skies and a setting sun, Lou and I raised a glass of Otter Ale in homage to the soul of the E St Band. Bless you Clarence, rest easy x
