Default Price of soft drinks
I know there's plenty of standpipes about for drinking water but I was just wondering what the average cost of soft drinks are as I'll have my daughter with me? And yes I am expecting them to cost a small fortune.

Bottled water is £1 and you can refill it from the taps, soft drinks are expensive from the ice cream vans but not unreasonable from food stalls but you will soon find out the best places.

In 2008 Pepsi/Coke/lemonade/Orange Juice was £ 2.10 1/2 pint £ 3.20 pint at the bar

Water was £2.10 500 ml

I have been working in the crew bar since then so cant say the public prices but its bound to be more than that.

As there is no restrictions as to what you can bring in { apart from no glass } if your driving just bring in bottles from the supermarket

Why not just take a small bottle of squash and keep it in your bag... then just use a plastic bottle and the water taps to make up some juice as and when...?

That way you will save a fortune!

I bought one bottle of water last year as it was ridiculously hot, and just kept refilling it - the water from the taps tastes good and is nice and cold too!

Just bought my own body weight in Capri Sun from the reduced bit in Tesco coz the boxes were a bit squashed. Luv a bargain & I can hide them in the in freezer till June. Just got to remember to get them out on the Wednesday morning, lol.

We normally start buying our bits now. Lots of fruit pastels and polos, energy bars and fruit bars. The multi packs of single breakfast cereals are good as you can get fresh milk easy enough on site. also pot noodles (they now sell them in pouches, saves loads of space.) Basically we have always took enough munchies and soft drinks to cover the kids for the 5 days. Takes a lot of effort getting it to camp but its worth it on the pocket. Kids filled their own back packs in the morning and just grazed on it as the day went on.
