potential date for 2013 sales?
probably going to have to book a sunday off work to get tickets for 2013-looking at the calendar does anyone have a guess at what the date might be? sept 30th or oct 7th? know it woud be just a guess at this stage but I could do with getting the day booked asap-any ideas would be helpful!

Of late it's been the first Sunday in October. They seem happy with the current set up so if I was a gambling man, I'd go for 7 October. If I were hedging my bets I'd book 30 September off too and cancel the one I don't need when the date's announced.
Which is a good point, must put both dates in my diary and make sure I don't make plans for those days! And that includes planning the night before... screaming senselessly at the seetickets website with a hangover is not an experience I choose to repeat
Wow... my first Glastonbury 2013 planning post! I'm getting excited already!

Something i think we have all done. It has to be one of the most intense times ever-waiting to get that connection.
Got in by the skin of my teeth last time and can't imagine it will be any less gut wrenching this time. Reading through a few other blogs/sites it appears that there are quite a lot of people who get together and the first one through orders as many as they can using each others registration numbers etc and on it goes.
Just throwing this one out there-is there anyone out there who would be interested in doing a similar thing-especially among the regular posters/contributors?
Hope i haven't upset anyone with the suggestion above-just wondered if there is any interest?

We did something like this in 2010 and 2011 and managed to help quite a few people to get tickets, it also happens on twitter and FB but I don't think I would be comfy giving my details out on there but there are several people n the forum I would trust with my details, we swapped phone numbers before as well to make it a bit easier.

I do this every year with a group of friends on another website. Once we get ourselves and our nearest and dearest sorted we all keep trying for everybody else so it vastly increases the chances for those who are still without tickets. Last year we got over 200 tickets beween us and only those who logged on very late in the day missed out. I would add though that it's an invitation only community. Like stinkywitch says, I wouldn't be comfortable with posting my phone number online otherwise let alone give my banking details to complete strangers.

A group of us do this as well. Having everyone on the same instant messaging system is a godsend.

Maybe the rumors of the overseas thing is true. We got tickets on the last lot sold (resell or something) with our first call the year was 2009 . Was amazed at how easy it was.
I hope it is so easy this time around. I will have four phones going just in case maybe more.
Got to get me tickets :-)
