Ponchos etc
So this year I'm going to buy a poncho, mainly to ensure it does't rain and I never need it! (no need to thank me) But I do feel like splashing out a bit and buying some other random bits and bobs since I'm not having to pay for my van this year and it's my only holiday of the year. Though I work in town, I hate shopping and really cba trawling round town looking for stuff.
So can anyone recommend a good website to buy cool festival stuff from? I know I could look on ebay and stuff but I'd rather just get stuff all from one place. Thanks

those poncho's look really cute. might get myself one.
I've been depating wether or not to buy a shewee. If use the female urinals do they have paper/disposable shewee's or you expected to bring your own? Dont fancy the longdrop's much although i have got bio-degradable toilet seat covers, so am thinking i will be using the shewee's.

I spent ages last year trying to find a 'nice' ponhco (if there is such a thing), these aren't bad but are only 'shower proof' ie not suitable for persistant rain or torrential downpour.
I have also been toying with the idea of a shewee, think I will start a new thread as I have many questions

I got a security body wallet for my money, phone etc. from here
www.funkyleisure.co.uk
Delivery was really quick and their prices seem reasonable. Had loads of other random festival/camping stuff too.

them ones only act as a shell, and for the price i dont think its bad as it'll do the job for the few days of the, ahem, NO RAIN THAT WE WILL BE HAVING WHATSOEVER.
i thought they were good as if it is raining, they'll keep you pretty much dry as even tho the photo makes them look all snug and fitting...there actually MAHOOSIVE..it goes down nearly to my knees! and its big so you can layer up underneath if you get cold

also, on the note of shewees, id recommend getting one (even tho ive never been) as im having nightmares about sitting on germ infested toilets...whereas with a shewee, you can just stand and aim! or use the urinals. also, it may proove helpful if you need to do a little tinkle in the nighttime and rather trodding along to toilets, just aim into a bottle!

Thanks a lot guys. I'll have a look at that site and pop into Tescos. Those ponchos look ace!
Having said I couldn't be arsed, I went shopping at lunchtime and bought loads of crap from Primark. They've got some brilliant really garish wellies for £10, loads of cheap sun hats, shades for £1 and other assorted crap. I've decided that my outfit for one day is going to be totally head to toe pink
I'm really tempted to get one of these, despite the fact I've just bought one of those fold out camping mats that you sit on. This looks cool. Nearly as cool as my hand knitted rainbow poncho I made last year. But warmer and cosier.

They were selling schmangles next to our water stall near the John Peel tent last year. Can't remember the price, but if you want to wait and see what the weather is like when you're there that's the place to head to to buy one if we get any wet sunshine (not going to say the R word).

I have a waterproof, fleece lined Honcho http://www.festivalkit.co.uk/prod_de...PID=9&sizeid=6
I found that the Shmangle wasn't wide enough to wrap around properly, and would fall off, whereas the honcho is totally hands free

That looks cool! Not sure what size to get though. Want it to cover me properly but don't want it dragging on the floor or anything as I'm only 5ft2in. What size did you get?
Found these on ebay for less money, put in Honcho Poncho.
