Please help! Disabled camper van driven by non-ticket holder

Hi I have a camper van permit in the disabled camping area due to mobility issues.
The van is owned by my parents (I cannot and am not insured to drive it). My dad will be driving the van, and my mum will be following in her car to take him home.

Will we encounter any problems doing this? Will my mum be allowed to follow us all of the way in to take my dad home? Will they be able to get back in without us to collect the van again?

Dont know if this really helps...but i have just got back from dropping my caravan to glasto. I have a ticket but dad doesnt and he came with me. They allowed my dad in to help me unhitch and set up because i have no idea!!

We both went in the same car because i was only dropping the van off and i will be returning on thursday for the duration.

dont know if thiis helps...
