Default Pale Blue Door
So most of the friends I'm going with are going to this on Thursday night.

http://tonyhornecker.wordpress.com/2...lastoinvite-5/

Does anyone know anything about it, has anyone been? It kind of looks like a load of pretentious over priced guff to me but I hate missing out on stuff and will be really annoyed if it's really good and all my mates go but I don't!

Have to be honest-I would be annoyed at paying £40 for a G&T, bit of beef, eton mess () and then another £20 for clean sheets for a bit of .

Vaguely remember The Love Hotel being up near Shangri-La/Arcadia.

One thing that won't be behind the blue door is my backside

It was the posh restaurant they had last year

Wonder if they'll have any spare hot blokes that I could 'dine' with :P

The Pale Blue Door is amazing, I've been in London twice, it has great food at a good price, it's bring your own booze with very entertaining acts!

However, I'd generally say if you can go outside of Glasto do it then, there's so much to see and do at Glasto it almost feels a waste to spend a whole evening there...

Looks like I've made the right decision then. It did seem a bit "un-Glasto" to be spending £40 on a poncy meal and getting all dressed up for it. Think I'll spend £8 or so on a pie and the remaining £32 on booze and the rest...

So what do most people do on Thursday night then? I think I need to get up to Shangri-La end of things this year since I've only set foot in there once in two years of going.

Talking We've booked a table for Saturday
Tony Hornecker is a set designer, so his restaurants are always amazing to see. There's normally a theme and as the other poster who has been there mentioned, there's often 'unusual' entertainment.

I can't wait!

Incidentally, is it okay to take your own booze to Pale Blue Door at Glastonbury?
