Default No steward training this year
Steward training is now good for four years so if you were trained last year, you don't need to train again until 2014. Is this GFL simply saving money or do you think the training is more of a test of your commitment than a worthwhile exercise?

It is true that the training takes up part of a precious weekend, you very rarely learn anything you didn't know already and plenty of the course does little to prepare you for what you might face at the Festival.

However, I think the training is a great chance to meet up with faces old and new, reflect on previous experiences and, most of all, have a bit of a laugh. I also think it makes the Festival seem a bit closer. So I am a bit disappointed that there is no training for me this year.

Any other opinions?
