Just a quick post to tell you that the money raised by the volunteer stewards in Dance Village last year has gone towards a new music room and library at a local school. Michael Eavis generously funded part of the new building too, and opened it in a ceremony last month. He apparently turned up in shorts but with formal shoes on rather than his usual wellies or flip-flops. Clearly a big event for him
It's great to be part of the Glastonbury stewarding crew anyway but even better when you can see the result of your efforts being put to such good use.
