i have managed to get hold of a ticket it will be my first glasto and this yr none of my mates are going so im a bit nervous and worried it will be crap on my own

Don't worry. I'm goin on my tod too. Quite a few ppl are aswell. I shouldn't worry cos I will promise u that u will make loads of friends there. Think the person who organises this site is organising a meet up at a bar at 2PM on the thurs for ppl goin alone so we can all mingle and have shits and giggles. Are u on Facebook? Cos loads of ppl are making friends on there, getting to know oneanother and meeting up there. The group is "glastowatch/chat solo meet up" and join/like the page/group

There is a meet for all on the forum and twitter #twisto. Its not just for single people. Come along and meet up its at 2pm in West Holts (formally Jazz world)

I went on my own last year and it couldn't have been any better. Met loads of people over the week (was there Tuesday to Monday) and the real bonus is you can be completely selfish don't have to worry about what everyone else wants to see!!

Suggest you get there as early as you can so you can see as much of the festy site as possible before the Friday start. You'll probably do more wandering on the Weds and Thurs than those people who are in a group.
