Just wondered whether anyone else was hit by a weapon whilst watching acts ?

I was watching Fleet Foxes when I became the victim of a corn-on-the-cob. outrageous.

I got covered in baked beans whilst watching Keanu Reeve's band Dogstar, way back when. Was bloody funny, someone had emptied god knows how may tins of beans into a carrier bag and launched it. Messy, but funny. beats, wee anyways!

My memory of that gig is that being hit with a shower of baked beans could only have improved it!

As for wee, yup, Reading '83 during Thin Lizzy a flagon of the stuff smacked me on the shoulder. Fortunately (for me... less so for my neighbours) the wee went elsewhere! Rather have a bruised shoulder than a wet one...

I remember that gig. The lemonade stall did a roaring trade, and Keanu got a load of lemons flung at him.
They weren't bad for a teenage pub band, but they shouldn't have been on that big stage.

many moons ago i was at another festival, Donnington Monsters Of Rock, where a band called Bad News were playing. ( if you dont know they were a joke metal band made up of the young ones). Anyway my mate and i had been filling a bottle with piss during that afternoon and it was full so ilaunched it at the stage. It was a perfect shot and hit Nigal Planer in the face splashing piss everywhere.

Later when we got home we watched the Comic Strip Presents film and there is my bottle of piss hitting him.

I hasten to add, i always use the toilest at glastonbury.
