Does anyone know if Millets are operating a buy online and collect on site service like they did last year?

I assume they will although I can't find anything on their website yet and last year's link to their "buy and collect" service from the Festival website doesn't work anymore. But that was dated 5th June last year so I'd wait a while.

Unfortunately there's no more Joe Bananas as an alternative

I asked Millets on Facebook if they would be doing the buy & collect & they've replied back to say no, they won't be doing it this year.

In fact it was discussed a few weeks about Joe Bananas { who appear to have gone bust }

There is a new company that will be at Glasto and will supply some camping gear - select Festival Pickup service http://www.cosycamper.co.uk/

please note I have no association with them nor do I gain commission from you clicking on that link.

I have never used any festival pickup service so cannot say if they are good or bad all I know is they will be at Glastonbury and some other events this year.

Damn, guess I'll have to find an airbed small enough that I can be bothered to carry then

Check out the range of thermarests. They're much lighter and compact than airbeds, easier to carry, thermal, and more comfortable. You can find them in most good outdoor shops. Best bit of camping equipment I ever bought. There's a wide choice on this website

Only downside they might be expensive if you're not going to use them a lot.

Oh and by the way - they also inflate themselves (magic !). All you need to do is give them a few puffs before sealing the air vent.
