Default Meeting friends in campervan
Hello Party People

We had a bit of a cock-up in the travel arrangements this year and consequently we can't all travel down together (there are 4 of us). Two of us are going with the campervan on Weds and two of us are driving down on Thursday in a car. My question is will the two of us in the car be allowed to walk into the campervan site to meet and stay with the other guys? Also I haven't received my car-park ticket yet and wondered how worried I should be using an animal scale? An animal scale is less boring than alpha or numeric - If I shouldn't be worried at all that would be an insect and if I should be fretting my head off that would be a blue whale. Any help warmly welcomed and see you there!!

Did you order your carpark ticket separately? My Festival tickets came with a car sticker which is all I have. This was ordered at the same time as my festival tickets. If you only ordered your car park sticker recently they probably have a backlog. I would be as worried as a greenfly. But if you ordered them together, back in October, a cow. Hope this helps x

Giraffe

There is nothing to stop you parking up in the car park, coming across site and into the campervan field. Just be aware that each time you go off site you have to show your photo id ticket and pick up a 'pass out' ticket which you'll need for re-entry. This happens every time you go in and out from the campervan fields. Depending on which car park and which campervan field its quite likely you're in for a long walk. So if poss get your friends in the campervan to take most of your gear - especially if they're in 'blue' as there's a bit of a hill to climb as you come off site

Thanks you guys Yes Sarah, I ordered the car park ticket fairly recently (about two weeks ago I think) so maybe it is caught up in a backlog.

Mart, Giraffe? Wow! That's heavy. I was only at goat but now I'm thinking maybe llama or even water buffalo. Hopefully I will soon have reason to be at amoeba. Thanks for the advice though. Would be great if I could pull up at the camper park and throw all the gear out of the car, but ready for the drudge if not. Just hope it's not r*****g.

I think the giant turtle is the best idea, then it can carry Rou's gear on its back from the car to the campsite. Sarah x
