If only we could choose eh? Sadly that seems to go against Met Office who are usually pretty close to what actually happens.

The shift towards slightly better weather continues, but without getting too carried away, rain flanks either side of the festival aswell, so changeable conditions are certain. That said, sunshine and showers appears to be the running theme, although for most of the time the rain won't be heavy and prolonged, just showery in nature. During the drier spells, temperatures will climb quite smartly and we can expect some pleasant conditions, but on the whole, expect an unsettled but not altogether miserable passage of weather. One thing past festivals has taught me, even some rain can cause a mudbath, and whilst the likelihood of this is decreasing, chickens shouldn't be counted just yet.

I don't mind a bit of mud, as long as it doesnt piss down for the whole weekend I'll be happy!

Well I say bring it on, whatever the weather. Could do without a deluge but warm and showery is absolutely fine by me.

As the saying goes, those who think sunshine brings happiness have never danced in the rain.

I am prepared for rain more then sun! (though I am also taking sun cream!) Hopefully it isn't rainy on Wednesday, otherwise our tent isn't going up until it is dry. Silly inner part goes up first!

Love it! I'm sticking with the countryfile/BBC forecast which showed a nice high pressure arriving Friday. It changes hourly anyway, so basically look out the window to see what its like.

Latest from PWS:

The improvement mentioned by Emma on Sunday, (she's now left for the festival hence it's me, sorry!), continues in the right direction, although there will still be some showers to contend with. In fact all days bar one will now see showers, but for most of the time they will be pretty fleeting, not of much substance, and there will be some decent spells of drier and brighter weather around. Temperatures will nestle in the late teens, early twenties, so it will feel warm in the sunshine. No washout expected, but Emma's taken her wellies, (in fact three pairs....go figure?!).

Hurrah!

What that says to me is:

"blah blah blah pretty fleeting blah blah blah not of much substance blah blah blah No washout expected blah blah blah"

Would those people arriving today mind taking a bucket and sponge so that things are a bit drier when I get there tomorrow? Thank you.

It says on the official site it isn't muddy but wet underfoot so there's hope yet if it doesn't rain today (pleeeeaase!)
