our biggest dilema was going to be either Elbow or Mumford and sons clashing
AND THERE NOT

Yeah - it's not the "line-up clash planning" begins
Haven't seen anything major yet, but would have loved to see Deacon Blue........ It brings back soooo many memories, absolutely loved them (Ricky Ross -swooon & faint) and it was me n hubbys first common thing (you know what it's like when you start flirting )
But i can't NOT see Coldplay
Roll on June!

Be with you both on that one-probably the only artist/legend I won't miss-seeing him singing "Many Rivers to Cross" live will bring a lump to my throat

I am hoping the special park guests will be Brandon Flowers as he's in Sweeden a few days later and The Foo Fighters.

Agreed. We saw them last year on the saturday lunchtime and had a great time-especially their version of Ruby-"Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby OOh Aah Ooh Aah Aye"

IF I get a ticket on the resale, I would love to see Suzanne Vega, retro I know, but loved her music since I was a young teenager
I'm seeing the Foos in MK in July (spare ticket for sale!) but would be fab to get a preview if they are the special guests!

Is there any advance notice or is it a mystery until the last minute? i hear every year about surprise shows but have never seen any - is it a question of being in the right place at the right time? any advice galsto experts?

When Radiohalf (thats what I called them )played The Park last year the rumours started on Twitter when Thom Yorke was spotted backstage at the Park about 1 hour before they came on. Then @glastolive and @glastofest started tweeting get your arse up to The Park if you like Radiohead etc. When I got there everyone in the crowd thought it was The Strokes and didn't believe me when I said it was Radiohead.
Them Michael Eavis came on stage and said here are two people I don't need to introduce. The rest is history and etched on my mind forever.

Oh Buffystar, it was beautiful wasn't it? I got a text quite early confirming it because the press were told to head up, kept it all quiet. Sneaked up early and managed to briefly meet the man himself. Amazing. Forever in my mind. RADIOHALF is genius!

Good line-up I think. Not so interested in the main stages so it looks like another year of Dance Village duties followed by hanging round The Glade for me. Some great acts elsewhere too though so no doubt will occasionally set off to see them, get distracted and see something else instead. Love it.
