Oh yes, but who was to know that you'd seen that info?
And anyone else reading the post who hadn't read the NME story, would probably have taken your post at face value too.

I've just been told Frank Turner is playing.
He apparently said something at a gig last night.
I'm waiting for confirmation before I stick him on the self confirmed list.

I've been tipped off by private message on Twitter that Noah and the Whale are playing.
Source hasn't giving me info before, but is one of the regulars.

Pixies finish their tour of Canada and the US in May and then have no more gigs announced at all, leaving the whole summer free for (hopefully) some festival spots. Please, PLEASE let them be at Glasto.
And Smashing Pumpkins and Faith No More are both free in June...
I'm afraid this is probably all nothing more than wishful thinking though.

Agreed! If he just rocked up, played Graceland, and buggered off again... That alone would make me the happiest guy alive! (I'm pretty sure I've said something similar on here before)
I also notice that Ladysmith Black Mambazo are playing at The Barbican at the end of May... so wonder if they will be joining Paul Simon on any of his dates? That would be absolutely incredible!

Some you win...
No libertines, no pulp,
but a possible maybe for Paul Simon, that would be rather awesome.
