Eminem

Eminem is being lined up to headline next year's Glastonbury Festival, reports suggest.

The rapper, who recently performed 29 songs at last weekend's T In The Park, is wanted to perform at the three-day event by organiser Michael Eavis, says MTV.

Kylie Minogue and Radiohead have also been rumoured to perform. However, a U2 slot looks unlikely after the band announced their rescheduled US tour dates, which are around the same time as the festival.

Eavis previously ruled out the possibility of Minogue returning to the event, despite having performed with the Scissor Sisters at this year's show.

Apparently Michael Eavis has told Heat West Country that he's booked "an American artist" as one of the headliners.

Notice he said "artist" not "act" which suggests it's a solo performer.

So we know Friday is still free, though he's asked U2 to fill that slot, and he's booked a Yank for one of the other days.

Prince? What other American artists who haven't already played Glasto are there with the stature to headline? Eminem did other UK festivals this year, so I doubt it'll be him as Glasto doesn't usually follow what the other fests do. Any ideas?
