Yeah, there will be loads still but just not in the feilds close to the stages.
First timme i went, back in 09, we arrived like 7ish an they ended up taking jus out of the site to camp in an extra field, nice and quiet plus plenty of space Only problem was having to show our ticket to get into an out of the festival was a right pain!!!
Definatly recomend getting in early as possible plus you get the most for your money

Yeah we went for first time in 09, didnt really know where to go so ended up near the glade and just about squeezed in ! looking for somewhere with a bit more space this time, not too bothered about trekking around (its part of the fun wandering around ). Can always stay in father-in-laws marquee if i get too wasted and unable to get my bearings. Cheers
Depends how big your tent is and how much space you want/need
A lot of the main central fields will be pretty crammed, though campsite stewards and info people may be able to advise where the best chances of getting space will be. I'd seriously advise arriving by west enterence tho, as the walk in from the east is a pig, and no camping fields directly inside the east enterance. Come in from the west and you enter into camping fields, and usually loads of space left in these even on a Friday!
