Default kids scooters... worth bringing?
Hello again!
After seeing the thread about bikes, it got me thinking about kids scooters... you know, the metal folding ones with 2 small wheels. We are a group that includes 5 kids, aged between 5 and 8, so I'm wondering would it be worthwhile bringing their scooters, even just for the journey from the car to the campsite? If it rains then we could leave them in the cars as I don't think the wheels would cope in the muck, but if it's dry, do you reckon they'd be any help???

Last time I was at Glasto was a looooonnnngggg time ago, pre-kids, and I remember rough lane ways, but can't remember how rough! Plus, we're aiming for Cockmill so it'll be a new entrance for me... is it uphill/ downhill/ mixture of both, from the car park to there?

Many many thanks in advance, I'm finding this forum a godsend at the min,

Clare

i wouldnt recomend it tbh, its hard enough keeping an eye on the kids without them having pedel power.
the camping areas will be too crowded to play on them and its not a very even walking area anywhere else.
and the kidz field is on quite a big slope so no playing there either, sorry

That's grand, it was more to get them from the carpark to the camping without moaning about the distance, but they'd prob just mow people down on the way anyway! Thanks for the quick reply.
