I just bought a ticket today

I have been checking this page like a nutter all week and it just paid off.

I bookmarked it last sunday and it has been saying sold out all week -up until 30 mins ago.

I paid the deposit and just received the email confirming it.

You should see the smile on my face!

It's saying Sold Out again and the Seetickets advisor I just spoke to said they hadn't sold any since Sunday!!

That one's still saying Sold Out next to the quantity box too.
I put in all our registration details and post codes but when I put in the payment details on the following page it was having none of it, saying I hadn't put in for any tickets for 16+ years old etc.

Keep an eye on that page though cos I promise you it just let me buy one even though the seetickets.com/g2010/ was still saying sold out.

I had to pay fully instead of deposit, but it went through and I'm awaiting the email...
Willy, you could've just made my 2010 which says something cuz my career kicks off then too!!

How did you guys do this?!
The deposit page is now redirecting to the main tickets page (it wasn't yesterday)
The girl on the phone seemed surprised that there were any sales today - she said no plans for any resales until 2010 and it will be publicised.
Is there a loophole in their system? Have they closed it?

I can't sit and refresh this page all day every day!!

I got tickets on Sunday but some of my friends missed out. They've just got 2 on deposit (about 12.45pm) through the link so it was definitely working. Thanks Willy!

I set that page to be my homepage so every time I opened my web browser I would be reminded to give it a pop.

Having called my girlfriend to tell her that we got the tickets, I was met with a stern impression of Buzz Killington where all she did was start worrying about her brother and his bird getting tickets too.
She then goes on to ring him and let him know that shit could be going down with the Glasto tickets and he tells her that they're not even going because they don't think they'll be able to afford it, even if we paid and they paid us back....
All of my giddy happiness has been sapped for nothing.

But either way, I promise I'll keep vigilant and the moment I notice any tickets become available again I'll post up here.

Have phoned since and seetickets denied any phone sales had been made and reconfirmed that there would be no sales until next year.

If you've received the confirmation email or your ticket is showing on See's ticket tracker then you don't have much to worry about.
There's no proof that I know of that it was down to a glitch, though it probably was.
I retweeted someone who claimed that tickets were available over the phone, though I haven't heard of anyone else getting one this way today.

It could be a devious viral marketing ploy.

They know full well that if they make a few hundred Glasto tickets available, word will spread like wildfire through the net. The more people who visit their site, the more likely they are to sell tickets for other events. Or am I just cynical?

In May people were being told on the phone that no tickets were available, yet when they phoned back and spoke to a different person, they were sold one.

Anyhow, my mate is going on the NME guest list and he was speaking to some girl at see just now confirming his tickets. I got him to check to see if my booking was on the system and she confirmed that it was there and a valid booking.

So there it is, confirmation from the horses mouth that tickets booked today are valid.

Get in!

That gives us all hope! I managed to get a ticket on Sunday but my husband's registration didn't go through (even though we have the emails with the number saying it was valid until July 10!) and now need to find a ticket for him somehow! I organised all my group - sent them reminders about the registration, texts waking everyone up on Sunday and was buying my ticket at 9am, just to find out his reg wasn't working... now I am glued to the net in hope but first, see tickets is telling us we need to get him a new registration...nightmare but I have faith!
