Does anyone fancy getting involved in a car/van convoy travelling down on Tuesday? There's two vans involved so far, meeting on the M1 just south of Wakefield around 1.30pm ish on Tuesday...
Not sure what time we are getting our van and setting off on Tues, but I'll put the tyne bridge flag in the back window so you can give us a toot if you see us !
were leaving at midnight from castleford. just up road from there, having a slow ish drive down, we in two cars and will be looking out for any cars full of happy people
I have heard that it is not a good idea stopping at service stations close to Glastonbury. The police have used these areas to inspect vehicles and their occupants. Being in convoy could make you a target. If you need a wee stop I suggest you make it before you get into the area.
To be fair, convoy at this stage means two vans! But good shout about services close to Glasto, thanks. And since we have everything we need in our van, including a toilet, I will stay well away from all of them. Not that I have anything to hide of course...
