Default iPhone app
I don't usually bother with my phone at the best of times, and I only switch it on for emergencies (few and far between) at festivals but Mr Nelly has an iphone and has been looking for official apps but doesn't seem to be able to find one.

Anyone?

I will be taking my iPhone for updates on special guests, but other than that I'll be using my crappy Samsung Tocco! I will get the Glasto app but not sure if I'll use it much.

I had two on my Iphone last year, very usefull they were too at times.

One was from Orange which had an "AR" function, this superimposed directions for stuff over the camera image. Helped me a couple of times.

Can't remember where I got the other one from, but just opened it and it has been updated to 2011. Thats a bonus!

Do you not find the battery was really awkward while you were there? Or did you turn 3G off to save the battery for when you needed it?

I can imagine the only reason I'll use it is if I need to contact someone from my iphone contract number, maybe to check in on Facebook to make people jealous.. ;p and to look up the special guests.

Other than that, I'll be using the Tocco, just to text the parents and let them know all is good etc.

I bought one of those Powermonkey chargers with solar panels last year. Charged it up before I left home and used it to recharge my phone when the battery was flat then left it in the tent window to recharge through the day. It was a bit expensive but it got me through the week

Hmm, I think I'll just take it and turn it on once a day. I'll have the Tocco for other things like checking the time and finding friends.
