Hi all,
Just read through the thread and recognise a lot of names from Twitter!
I've been going since 1998, and every year since - apart from the odd year due to not being able to get tickets.
Been tackling the hill of death since 2007(?) I think - having bought a VW Camper solely for festivals!!!
Less than 4 weeks to go and can't wait!

Hello All
This will be my first Glasto!!! I have always wanted to attend and now I have the chance.
Keep an eye out for the Mothership NOLA, if you get close, come get abducted!
Will be with a group of space alien lunatics and promise to be worth the trip.

Oooops never thought about introducing myself,
Hiya people, I'm Martin from Preston and I'm going for the Glasto hatrick this year. Still got my wristband on from last year (sad I know) and am buzzing about going this year.
Oh and to all you glasto virgins out there, I don't care how many other festivals you've been to, if any. Glastonbury is gonna blow you away, in fact I envy you,,,you never forget your first time,,,,Enjoy.
Peace

Hello all,
Dunkyard Jog here, or Mark to people in the real world
Big fan of Hobo Jones (you didn't guess that by the name?).
Been to numerous Glastos and survived various downpours/mudbaths (haven't most of us veterans?) Looking forward to blazing sunshine and lots of Lemon cider (far nicer than the Strawberry or even the normal pear cider - just like trad lemonade).
Have met H4C a few time at the TOS board meets (I am mrduff there - the flying duck signature).
Look forward to saying hello to any of you guys if a meet gets organised - Cider Bus anyone ?

Since I've already posted a few times, thought I'd better introduce myself! My name's Guida (I'm a girl in case you can't tell from that!) and I'm a Yorkshire lass. Last year was my first ever Glasto and indeed first ever festival. Despite loads of logistical crap going wrong, I had the best time EVER and am now in the full throes of Glastonbury obsession in the build up to going. I'm probably boring the pants of everyone who knows me who isn't going but at this point I don't actually care!
Bring on some random shit in the healing fields!

Hi I'm Sarah, 32, born in Blackpool but been in York about 12 years now.
This will be my first ever Glasto, have wanted to go since I WAS 14 but never been able to afford it and other stuff comes up over the years,(wedding, babies etc!).
I am finally getting my dream this year though, this is my pressie to my hubby who is 40 this month, so as it is glasto 40th anniversary thought it would be a fitting way to spend his big birthday!
Hubby has been numerous times in the 90's in his travelling days!
So, thats me, HI!!

Spose I'd better say hi after the odd post and much lurking. I'm Neil, 48, live ere in South Zummerrset with wife and son (9), worked at every Glasto since 94, mostly in Dance Village. Volunteered originally to help with fund raising for local school and loved it so much that I couldn't imagine not being there ever again.
Joined this forum to try to find out the gossip on re-sales because a good mate missed out first time round, but you lot seem pretty friendly and interesting so I've stayed ( and yes, they were successful on that Sunday morning in April).
So, come and hug a steward in Dance Village if you're there, it could be me! In fact, I don't need to tell you to do that; hugs, kisses, photos and dances with punters are regular occurrences on every shift. And that is partly the reason I love Glasto so much - everyone is having such a fab time, it is completely infectious.

Hiya! I'm Sam, living in Somerset and just *fingers crossed* got myself a stewarding gig for the festie. I won't quite believe that it's true until I'm doing the traditional beating of the bounds on my first night.
I've been to Glasto as a punter now five times... Once camping in Pennards, thrice in the campervan fields at the top of the Hill O' Death, once as a "VIP" because I won tickets with The Guardian. This year I really, really wanted to work it...give something back, see it from t'other side, get involved in making it the wonderful place it is... We shall see.
I've always been with friends before, this time would be on my own... Whole new ball game. Going to have to pack a lot less for starters :o)
Anyway... yes... that's me. Hello! *waves*
