Congrats to all who got tickets!
I'm Keith and I'm currently living in Gloucester.
Me and my girlfriend didn't manage to get tickets yesterday so I'm bumming around trying to find out what I can do to get some.
Last year was our first Glasto, and I'm blown if we're gonna settle for anything less anymore.
Here's to scouring the forums, Seetickets and the Glasto site waiting for the release of the fallout from dodgy transactions!
Much respect 'watchers.

If you aren't successful, why not see if you can get some voluntary work at the fest, Oxfam and the other charities are always looking for workers, and some companies, like security, even pay you for being there!

Hello there, I'm Jo and I'm from.....Brighton (well Hove actually now, but I'm not proud of that).
Been going since '92 and they just keep getting better in my opinion.
Was supposed to go to the 'meet' last year but I got sidetracked. Must try harder! (For the Twitter folks....I'm still alive but not on there so much now). Do miss all the banter though x

How can you possibly get sidetracked at Glasto?

Hi! I'm Dave (Katherine/Han456's other half). This will also be my first time and I'm already suffering from some sort of pre-glastonbury hype disorder. I may spontaneously combust before it actually comes around!

How do! I'm Dave and I'm from Cumbria (meaning it only took me 15hrs go get on site this year!)
I've been to Glasto a few times before, in '03, '08 and '09 and am chuffed that I've managed to get a lovely ticket for '10. Been to Leeds many times over the years but it doesn't really compare, does it?
Never really used a forum before either - hope this isn't my last post!

Hi, Steve's the name, and I'm based in Edinburgh. Always meant to go when the kids were small, but didn't get round to taking my daughter until 1999 and 2000. Then a long gap, until 2007 and 2008 stewarding with DDE and then SLS.
Last year, back as a punter, but maybe suffered from over-organising: there just didn't seem to be any time for serendipity.
/This/ year I'm going to try and do it properly!

Hello, I'm Viv and I live in London. My first Glasto was I don't know when but Plant and Page were on the Pyramid Stage and I was too shy to be introduced to Robert Plant backstage! It was awesome - Chrissie Hynde walked past me as I snoozed the morning after the night before.
These days I work for the Festival Medical Service and it rocks...but only if I get my ticket for 2010 which won't be confirmed until January!

It was 2003, because it was also my first year, and The Darkness were also the first ever band I saw at Glasto that Friday morning!
With that being said, ahoy everyone. The name's John (many many "John"s seem to go to Glasto) I'm a jolly Londoner and 2010 will be my sixth time on the farm.

That's because forums are ideas and expressions with all the nuances of body language, tone and expression removed we're not really built to comprehend that, still tis all good fun.
Its also why I stopped joining forums well that and the worry I'd sign up to as many forums as H4C but well here we go again.
Hi I'm vimes these days also been known as halls, halls57, punk, festiduck and one day I'll settle on a name

Hi I'm P (yes, my friends do call me that, and some actually call me Auntie P).
I've been going to festivals since 1989 and my daughter's been going since her first (Reading) at 9 weeks old in 1991. She's been with me to every festival except for 3 glorious Glastonburys (97, 98 and 99 = mud, more mud, scorcher) when I went solo and left her with my brother!
2010 will be my 12th Glastonbury and my daughter's 9th. We used to camp at Pennards but since the rest of my friends started having kids, we've moved over to the Family Field at Cockmill this century. It was nice to see Muddy Lane open again this year.
I love Cajun Fries from the Blue Moon Cafe in JazzWorld, among many other things.

I hope so, as i spent T day at a safe distance watching the internet strain with the demand. Then again ive been doing it nearly 10 years now, so i must be doing something right.

Hello. I am just saying 'hi' and introducing myself. I hope to be at Glastonbury next year asI have a deposit on a ticket so have until February to decide what to do. Have been about 14 times now and looking forward to another one greatly, there's only one thing which would stop me going but it may not happen. I've been a member of a few of these kinds of forums for a few years but thought I would sign up to this one too.

Hi all Mart here (from Newcastle) - first went about 1991 but cant remember much about it except that it was hot and sunny all weekend. Oasis headlined if that helps anyone pin down the year.
Welcome to any newcomers for 2010 - prepare to have the best time you've ever had with the best atmosphere at the best festival in the world. Already having trouble sleeping every time I think about next year

Prue here- not imaginative with names
I've been on various Glasto boards for a few years now and have been at the festival every year since 02, tho I first went in 83.
I've worked on Info for 4 years now too - love it!!
I live in lovely deepest Somerset and regularly drive up the A37, craning my neck around to try to get a glimpse of the farm

Hello My names Kate and I've been going to the festival since 1990. I have never bought a ticket! I always work in one of the many (if a tad over priced) beer tents. Its the best thing ever, everyone is really friendly, I lost my bag last year and it turned up with everything in it. (!) If anyone wants to know how to work in a beer tent give me a shout!

S'up all! Long time follower of GlastoWatch on twitter so thought i'd sign up here. Last year was my first Glasto and it was honestly the best experience of my life. Was well gutted when I didn't get tickets first time round, but a couple of my mates who I went with last year managed to secure a deposit for me on yesterday's sale. Am now well hyped up for Glasto 2010 armed with my knowledge of last year! Also am looking forward to the Tuesday night carpark rave, gonna be classic!!
