Default Horrible world.
Some ADULT decided he didn't like the look of my 14 yr old son last night and did this to him.
No idea who or why!!
I am so frikking angry. Chipped his lovely straight teeth. Nasty world.

Stinkywitch/Matt,
Really sorry to hear that this happened to your son-I am sure he will recover and with parents like you he will eventually have his faith restored in human nature-What I am struggling with is that an adult (sic) could do this. Send him my best and let him know we are all thinking of him.

the swelling has gone down and it looks like the only permenant damage is to his teeth. His confidence hasn't taken a hit, I wanna ground him till he is 18 but he just want to go back out with his mates. Amazes me how kids bounce back. Thanks for the support. x

Sorry, but glad to hear he is bouncing straight back. Whoever did that is a coward and it will backfire on them one day.

Exact same thing happened to my boy a couple of years ago. He was 16, waiting for his train to school & some random bloke just ran up & headbutted him in the face. I was so angry & even now it makes me mad! I'm not normally violent but I'd happily punch this bloke. My son is deaf & I worked really hard to make him as confident & independent as possible but it did shake him up a bit. Took him a few days to be able to be at the train station alone but he's all fine now. It's just me who still worries, lol.

Default Amazing how kids recover.
Here is my boy after his trip to the dentist. All the swelling has gone down now and not even a bruise on his face. He has had white fillings put on the end of his front teeth (to young for caps) and he is full of his teenage attitude. Never thought I would be glad to see him back to his normal stroppy self.

Thought I would keep you updated.
The police initially said they wasn't even going to take a statement from Billy as he hadn't had a good look at him and it was dark and it would be too much paperwork blah blah blah. I considered taking it further but my boy wasn't to keen on having his pic sent to the press so I let it lie.
On saturday we had a phone call from a detective who had been on leave, on his return he decided to look through some crimes and came across Billy's, A man had been going round our local area commiting similar random attacks and if Billy's description matched then it was prob the same guy. He took Billy's statement and within 2 hours I got a phone call to say he had been arrested and was in custody and they had charged him with ABH. A little faith has been restored. Thanks for your support. x
