Default Hello
Hello all Ive been hanging around this forum forum a couple of weeks now and have found it most interesting with some really helpful people, Ive never been to Glastonbury before so this is my first time and to say I'm excited is an understatement. I think my friends are getting annoyed at all the questions i keep throwing at them lol, so i turned to forums to find out what i need to know but the one i originally started using was terrible to say the least as it was just full of word association games etc and the people were rather rude when asking for advice so I'm glad Ive found this one.

anyways about me, my name is Chris, i live in Blackpool and I'm 25. I'm very familiar with camping as i do allot of carp fishing which involves bivying up next to a lake for days at a time but I'm guessing this is going to be different altogether due to the fact that i will rarely be sober

So that's a bit about me and my hello to you all, i hope you all have a great festival and maybe catch up with you's for a beverage or 10

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Are you planning to attend the meet with us?

Where: Jazz World/West Holts @ Glasto
When: From 2pm Thursday June 24th 2010

And yes, I think you will find Glastonbury totally different from lakeside camping. (unless it rains of course then there prob isnt much difference) (but thats not going to happen, is it?)

See you next week

You're more likely to spot naked people for a start.

Welcome to the forum.

I too have been stalking this site for a couple of weeks. I have found the information given to be brilliant and I have loved following the threads and seeing the banter between the "regulars" (you know who you are!). This is my first time too and it has been really helpful. I have followed links to Torts FAQS, checked the campsites out, asked a couple of questions and had them answered, seen the weather forecast changing every day and best of all, have seen that people are as excited as me!!!!
Hope you all have a brilliant time. THANKS!!!
Sarah
