I'm not convinced he was.

An admin on a forum claims that someone in the GnR camp told him the account had been hacked, but the official GnR Twitter account says "We're looking into it".

If it wasn't true, I'm sure they wouldn't leave it someone on a forum to tell the world, they'd have made an official statement by now.

I suspect that Axl may have thrown a wobbly, then got his lawyer/agent/PR or whoever to post that tweet for him, and now the rest of the group, their lawyers, their management team and the tour's insurance company are all trying to sort it out with him before making an official announcement.

This long without an official denial? Something's wrong!
