Glastonbury Tor

How far is Glastonbury Tor from the festival site? Would really like to go up there if possible. If it's walkable I may go up on the Tuesday night whilst nothing much is happening.

I used to think it was about 9 miles, but others hae said 6 in the past, so a quick look on google earth... gives 6.8 miles

Eek, that's a fair bit further than I thought. Still may be viable though. Will see how energetic I'm feeling next week.

Glastonbury is 6 miles from the site so the tor is roughly the same as it's only a little way out to the north east of the town.
