Default Glastonbury 5k run? Would you be interested?
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Glasto...26141734089673

I'm in talks with Glastonbury Organisers to try and arrange a run around glastonbury festival. I love running, and love Glastonbury, so why not. This group is to purely to guage interest and it is not an official event yet.

I'm trying to get sponsors on board, and glastonbury office officials too. A 5k, 3k, 10k run around the festival would be amazing, and easily possible.

Like the group if you would be interested.

Share with friends, and feel free to contribute if you have any ideas!

I'll race you to the bar ! Dont mean to knock your idea but this is my first time off work since Xmas and I don't think I'll be in a running mood.
Good luck tho

Yeah that's cool, I think most people would be in your position, and obviously everyone is not a keen runner anyway. Just wanted to put the idea out there to see what others thought. Sure there may be some people who may like too though. Or maybe it's just me :-).

The only thing I'd rather not do more than this is clean out the long-drops.

It doesn't seem very practical and is probably a H&S issue, it'll be like running an assault course with drunk and stoned people getting in the way. What's the chance of both you ankles surviving?

You don't think that walking our asses off for five days is enough. My feet are still in pain. I took my pedometer with me this year and I was doing 20,000 steps a day.
I think that the idea of thousands of people running round a restricted site would fill GF with absolute fear. It would be a nightmare. Just think about the railway track every night and all the barriers that have to be put up to stop log jams. Just walking from A to B can be a problem. You are completely insane!
Not trying to put you off or anything.
