Well it depends how much food and drink you take. There's plenty of wonderful food to be had there but obviously the more you consume the more it costs. As a very rough guide expect to pay £3-4 for a snack, £6-7 for something more substantial. Couple of these a day, then there's breakfasts and late night munchies. For drinks it was about £3.50 a pint last year as far as I remember. There's a vast array of stalls selling all sorts of treats, drinks, festival gear etc.

I was suprised at how cheap it was last year, im taking about £300 but.. im not planning on eating much. saying that though for £4.50 will get you quite big filling meals.

when i asked my brother how much he was taking he said 200 quid and thought thats not much, he is tight as owt haha. thanks guys

Remember that there are plenty of cashpoint machines there. You don't need to have the whole lot in cash for the whole festival. If you do have lots of cash on you, try to keep your daily bundle separate from your main stash. If it is seen that you are carrying hundreds on you, you might be get rumbled.
