Getting home thread...

[Piston Broke]

I thought I'd start this to make sure you all make it home OK.

I drove off the site and on to the A39 at 16.30, short trip home and got in the house at 19.00 after dropping three people off in different places in Barnstaple.

I can't belive its all over for another year...

Only 360 more days till Glasto 2011! Any body heard any rumours about who will be head lining?

Was back home at 5:30 on Sunday - gutted that I had to miss Stevie because of my exams today

im home safe, left before stevie wonder last night and got home at 2am. surely ive not been asleep for a year tho piston broke as 2012 is a few more days away than that me thinks

took us 30mins to leave the site , out at 11.30, then took us 6.5hrs to drive home, really knackered with a week off soo will be post again tomorrow.

out of the 13 glasto's this was one of the best

we left the site on monday morning at 11:30 from the west, went the wrong way and eneded up missing all the traffic! result, got home to sunny yorkshire at about 6 ish!
had a fantastic time and have lots of stories, especially the one about whatme the porta loo hero but thats for another day, nice colddrink

And i've just had a bath, it's NOT all muck i've actually got a Glastonbury tan

Left straight after Stevie, got to the car at 12:10am, and was home before 3am

I'm starting to think Glastonbury traffic is a myth, there was none on the way there either

We left at 8.30 yesterday morning, hit a bit of traffic on the A303 but were back home by midday.

Had an amazing time for my first Glasters, I even came home with a tan (once the dust had scrubbed off).

Roll on next year!

We had a bit of a nightmare - not wanting to rush we hung around until 2pm on Monday. We got out of the site pretty quickly but then got stuck on the A37 up to Bristol for over 3 hours.
I'm still glad we stayed though.

2 brave mates didn't drink Sunday and they drove thru the night all the way home while yours truly slept in the back of the campervan. Left after Stevie and was home in Newcastle 7:00 am Mon. Got this week off so am catchin up on sleep and watchin all the bbc coverage

We were in West 61 campervan field. We waited until about 3pm on Monday to make a move, although we had been asked to vacate by security from about mid-day. We had a big BBQ to finish off our stock of burgers, sausages and bacon and generally chilled out. By that time the field was only 10% full, if that. A slight delay at the traffic lights on the A361 heading towards Shepton but nothing worth bothering about. Past Shepton the road was completely clear.
