I didn't notice it as much this year as I have in the past, but then I didn't go anywhere near the dance tents and avoided the pyramid/other stage a lot of the time.

The worst I've ever seen is at Glade one year - there were empty canisters everywhere and every few seconds you could hear "pssshhhhhhht"

There sold as whipped ream chargers and contain N02 (i think). They cause no harm to the body if taken in small doses, 1 or 2 chargers per balloon is fine.
They last anything from 30 to 120 seconds depending on the type of balloon used, better balloon = better experience.
Normal price £1 a balloon, Glasto price £2+ a balloon. Cost £40 for 150 canisters
Not against the law to take but against the law to sell
Me and my mates took down about 200 for personal use and made sure we recycled all the used canisters
If you aint ever had it try it and you won't regret it

I think the main problem with nitrous is the litter caused when irresponsible people leave the canisters & balloons everywhere.

I have enjoyed it myself in the past though and it's definitely one of the less harmful highs.

I'm quite glad I didn't come across anyone doing it when I was with my son though because it would be really hard to explain it to a 2 year old!

Yeah, we woke up in the stones Sunday morning to the clink clink of litter pickers, their bags where full of them, at between £3-5 a go the sellers made alot of ££££.

At The Big Chill you can't walk in the dance tents for them.
