I've never even seen the Family camping field before but looking at the map Cockmill Meadow is the place to head...?
I've a huge tent so well aware I'll need to get there early, but how early should I turn up?
If I turn up in the car park before 8am Wed should I wait in my car or at what time should I start queueing to get in?
What time do the gates open Wednesday morning? I know the web site says 8am but someone told me it was actually earlier than that last year?
Any advice on how to navigate the roads to be sure I end up in a east-side car park? I'll have twice as much stuff as usual so don't want to have to slog across the site.
Any advice at all on what to do with a toddler in a field?

Cockmill meadow is an option for family camping. This link will give details on other suggestions, just in case!

When to arrive is always a dilemma - the earlier the better, get parked up and chill out. Theres no point rushing as you dont want to miss a minute of it!! This thread should give you some idea
http://forum.glastowatch.co.uk/not-s...ghlight=arrive Me and my crowd always try and get there as early as poss on Weds but this year were driving down Tuesday night as the car parks are open from 9pm Tuesday 21st June. Park up and wait for the gates to open on Weds (8am is what I have been told). I think were going to stay in the car until 5/6am and then see what the craic is with people queuing as we have never got there that early before!
Parking in the east car parks follow the blue route - coming from London we have always ended up their no matter which way we wanted to go! I had a bit of a search through the threads for myself before when I was planning our route, loads of the users on here gave some great advice. Trying to find you a decent thread now to have a gander at!! Will post it on here once I have stumbled across it!
Finally, not a clue what to do with a toddler in a field. My fella is pretty much like a toddler though so I pack 2 first aid kits and take all valuables from him before I let him wander off into the madness. He comes back when he is ready!!
I think StinkyWitch is the best person for advice with regards to kids/toddlers?...Maybe read through this thread

I hope all these threads from the forum show up properly!!

Have a great time!!
